One Plan, Everything Included: What ReviewTAG's Pricing Actually Covers

One Plan, Everything Included: What ReviewTAG's Pricing Actually Covers

Most software pricing pages are designed to be slightly confusing.

Three tiers. A feature grid with ticks and crosses. The thing you actually need sitting one row below the plan you were about to buy. And somewhere near the bottom, a per-unit charge that turns a predictable cost into a variable one the moment the product starts working.

ReviewTAG doesn't do that, and this post explains exactly what you get, what it costs, and  more usefully  the three things it doesn't cover.

There are two costs, and they do different jobs.

The hardware is a one-time purchase. Cards, stands, tags, pucks  physical objects you buy once and place in your business. Prices start at ₹99 per card.

The platform is one annual subscription. ₹14,999 per year, currently running at a launch offer of ₹4,999 per year. Billed once annually, cancellable before renewal.

That's it. No per-review charge, no per-location fee, no premium tier holding the analytics hostage.

Part 1: The Hardware

Four physical formats, each priced per unit, each including taxes and custom branding.

Format

Starting price

What it's for

Smart Card

₹99 / card

Handed to customers, staff pockets, bill folders

Review Tag

₹149 / tag

Keychain format for mobile and field teams

Acrylic Stand

₹299 / stand

Counters, reception desks, billing points

Desk Puck

₹399 / puck

Table-mounted, flush, spill-proof

Every format includes:

  • ✅ Custom design  your logo, colours and branding

  • ✅ Taxes

  • ✅ Free setup  your Google link configured for you

  • ✅ Pan-India shipping, dispatched in 24 hours

The "custom branding included" part is worth dwelling on, because it's where most comparable products quietly add cost. A generic QR sticker is cheap; a branded one usually isn't. Here the design is part of the unit price rather than a setup fee on top.

Which formats you actually need

Most businesses buy two, not one. The logic is placement-driven rather than budget-driven:

Business

Typical combination

Restaurant

Acrylic stand at the counter + desk pucks on tables

Salon

Smart cards at stations + stand at reception

Clinic

Stand at discharge + smart cards for front desk

Retail

Stand beside each card machine

Auto workshop

Smart cards for service advisors + stand at billing

Field/delivery team

Review tags (keychain) only

The reasoning behind pairing a fixed placement with a mobile one is covered in Google Review Stand & NFC Card Combo: Why Pairing Hardware Works Better, and the counter-specific case is in Google Review Stand for the Billing Counter: Placement That Converts.

A worked example

A single-outlet restaurant with a billing counter and twelve tables:

Item

Qty

Cost

Acrylic stand (counter)

1

₹299

Desk pucks (tables)

12

₹4,788

Smart cards (servers)

8

₹792

Hardware total

₹5,879

One-time. After that, the only recurring cost is the platform subscription.

Part 2: The Platform  Why There's a Subscription At All

This is the question people reasonably ask: if I've bought the card, why am I paying annually?

Because the card is the least important part of the system.

A printed QR sticker costs almost nothing and does almost nothing. It opens a blank Google review box and leaves your customer staring at it. Everything that makes the difference between a sticker and a working review system lives in software:

  • The questionnaire that replaces the blank box

  • The AI that drafts the review from what the customer selected

  • The rating fork that routes unhappy customers privately

  • The dashboard where that private feedback lands

  • The analytics that tell you what's working

  • The cloud link that lets you repoint every card you've ever printed

That last one is quietly the most valuable. Because the destination behind each code is editable, your Google Place ID can change, you can move premises, you can rebrand  and nothing printed becomes landfill. That capability only exists while the platform is live.

The full comparison between a static printout and a cloud-managed system is in QR Code Management: One Code Per Table, Counter or Campaign.

What the Plan Includes  All Thirteen Items

Here's the complete list, grouped by what each thing actually does for you.

🔧 Setup

Free Review TAG Setup  your Google Business Profile connected and configured. You don't have to work out Place IDs or review link formats yourself.

🤖 The customer experience

AI-Assisted Review Creation  drafts generated from what the customer taps, in under a second. How that works is explained in How AI Writes a Genuine Google Review in Under a Second.

Customer Review Flow  the guided screens the customer sees after tapping. No app, no login.

Business Questionnaire  the options customers choose from. You configure these; the guide is in Create a Review Questionnaire Quickly and Easily.

⚙️ Configuration

Keyword Configuration  the terms you want appearing naturally in reviews, which is what makes them useful for local search. Covered in Keyword Configuration: Making Every AI Review Work for Your Google Ranking.

AI Tone Selection  friendly, professional or casual, plus language settings. Why this matters more than people expect is in AI Tone Selection: Getting Reviews That Sound Like Your Real Customers.

QR Code Management  generates unlimited codes for different branches, counters, tables or campaigns, and tracks each separately.

📊 The dashboard

Centralized Dashboard  everything in one place.

Customer Feedback Dashboard  where low ratings land privately. The system for working that queue is in From Feedback to Fixes: Using the Private Feedback Dashboard.

Analytics  volume, ratings, trends.

Review Activity Tracking  what's happening, by code and over time.

Downloadable Reports  exports for your own records or team reviews. How to read all of this is in Review Analytics That Matter: Reviews, Ratings, Responses and Trends.

🎧 Support

Priority Support  included, not an upgrade.

What's Genuinely Not Included

Pricing posts that only list inclusions are marketing. Here's the other side.

❌ The hardware isn't in the subscription. Cards, stands and pucks are bought separately. The ₹4,999 covers the platform only.

❌ Reprints aren't free. If you want new cards because you rebranded or opened a branch, that's new hardware at the usual per-unit price. (You don't need reprints for a link change  that's handled in the dashboard.)

❌ There's no managed service. Nobody configures your questionnaire, writes your keywords, or works your feedback queue for you. Setup of the Google connection is free; the ongoing operation is yours. That's roughly fifteen minutes a month if you follow the frameworks in the posts linked above.

❌ Results aren't guaranteed, and shouldn't be. No review platform can promise a number of reviews or a rating. Anyone who does is describing something you don't want. What's guaranteed is that the friction between a happy customer and a published review disappears.

❌ Subscription payments are non-refundable, except where law requires otherwise, and customised physical products are non-refundable once production has started  which is standard for anything printed with your logo. Damaged items on arrival are a separate matter and are replaced. The full terms are in the Terms & Conditions.

Working Out Whether It's Worth It

Skip the ROI calculators. Do this instead.

Step 1  What's a customer worth to you?
Average transaction value × how many times a year a typical customer returns. A café might be ₹250 × 20 = ₹5,000. A dental clinic might be ₹4,000 × 2 = ₹8,000.

Step 2  How many new customers would cover the year?
Divide the annual platform cost by that number.

Business type

Customer value

Customers needed to cover ₹4,999

Café

₹5,000/yr

1

Salon

₹12,000/yr

Less than 1

Dental clinic

₹8,000/yr

Less than 1

Retail store

₹3,000/yr

2

Auto workshop

₹6,000/yr

Step 3  Ask the honest question.
Not "will this get me reviews?" but "will better Google visibility bring me one or two more customers this year?"

For almost any business where people search "[category] near me" before choosing, the answer is yes  which is why the maths here isn't close. The harder question is whether you'll actually place the hardware properly and spend fifteen minutes a month. That's the real variable, not the price.

How This Compares to the Alternatives

Approach

Cost

What you get

Printed QR stickers

~₹5–20 each

A link to a blank Google box. No drafting, no filtering, no data, no editable link.

Asking verbally

Free

Works occasionally. Depends entirely on staff memory.

Review-request SMS/email tools

Monthly per-contact fees

Low response rates; costs scale with volume.

Buying reviews

Varies

Policy violation. Risk of listing penalties. Don't.

ReviewTAG

Hardware once + annual plan

Full flow, private routing, dashboard, editable links

The printed-sticker comparison is the honest one to think about, because it's genuinely cheaper and genuinely does something. It just stops at step one  it opens the box and leaves your customer with the hardest part. Why that matters is covered in Why Happy Customers Don't Leave Google Reviews.

Multi-Location and Franchise Setups

Worth stating clearly because it's where competing products usually get expensive.

QR code generation is unlimited within your account. You can run separate codes per branch, per counter, per table zone and per campaign without additional charges. What scales with locations is hardware; you need physical stands and cards at each site  not the platform.

For a three-branch retail chain: three acrylic stands (₹897) plus whatever cards each site needs, on one platform subscription. Separate codes per branch mean you can see which site is actually performing, which is the whole point of segmentation.

A Note for Anyone Reading This Later

Prices change. The ₹4,999 figure is a launch offer, and launch offers end.

Two practical things follow:

For buyers: the price shown at the time of purchase is the one that applies to that transaction. Renewal pricing may differ from a promotional rate, so check your renewal terms rather than assuming the launch price is permanent.

For anyone referencing this post: verify against the pricing section on the ReviewTAG homepage before acting on any figure here. A blog post is a snapshot; the site is the source of truth.

FAQs

Is the subscription monthly or yearly?
Yearly. Billed once annually, cancellable before renewal.

Do I need the subscription if I've bought the hardware?
Yes. The hardware is the physical object; the subscription runs everything that happens after the tap  the questionnaire, the AI drafting, the private routing, the dashboard.

What happens if I let the subscription lapse?
Dashboard access and subscription-dependent features stop, and QR functionality tied to the subscription is disabled. The physical products remain yours.

Is there a per-review charge?
No. Collection isn't metered.

Can I buy just one card to try it?
Hardware starts at ₹99 per card, but you'll still need an active platform account for the experience to work. Talk to the team about what a trial setup looks like.

Are the hardware prices inclusive of GST?
Yes  taxes and custom branding are included in the listed per-unit prices.

Do I pay extra for more locations or more QR codes?
Codes are unlimited within your account. Additional hardware for each physical location is the only added cost.
